Family Groups
We know, from personal experience, that travelling with small children and babies means a lot of luggage! To take the stress out of family holiday we aim to provide every thing you need. We have: wooden cots and bedding, sterilisers, baby baths, changing mats, a well equipped laundry and most importantly baby monitors so when the children have gone to bed you can enjoy an evening glass of wine overlooking the Pembrokeshire countryside.
All kitchens are fully equipped and include a microwave for sterilising bottles and a stick blender for pureeing food for little ones. If you don't fancy cooking then we have many suggestions for local restaurants and takeaways. There are many tasty, local places to try for lunches and evening meals!
Pembrokeshire has a wealth of activities and days out to enthral the whole family as well as some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. When off to the beach we have thermos flasks and beach towels available so you can make the most of it. When back at the cottages used beach towels and damp clothes can be left in the laundry out of the way.
Back at the cottages there's a communal garden to run around in, a play area, a heated barn with picnic tables and swing-ball so you can make the most of
your time together. We also have a library of books and DVDs suitable for all ages so you can find something
everyone will enjoy.
Then, comfortable beds with cotton sheets and feather duvets for a deep sleep after all that fresh air.

Pembrokeshire has some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail hugs the coastline for 186 miles and has some of the most breathtaking scenery in Britain. As well as the coastline there is also woodland and the stunning Preseli hills with its stunning countryside views and wild ponies. Our website just shows a taster of the walking that Pembrokeshire has to offer.
All kitchens are fully equipped with an induction hob and oven and all the cooking utensils you could need. We have many suggestions of delicious places to eat, many of which can be incorporated into a stunning walk! Tea and coffee facilities are provided as well as Nespresso machines so you can bring you favourite capsules.
Washfield Cottages have been awarded Visit Wale's Walkers Welcome accreditation which acknowledges the lengths we go to to ensure guests who enjoy walking have all they could need. We have a separate laundry and drying room so any muddy walking clothes can be washed and hung to dry out the way and muddy walking shoes can be stored away. We also have an external hose so any muddy shoes and equipment can be washed down.
We have deep baths and powerful showers and then comfortable beds with cotton sheets and feather duvets
for a deep sleep after all that fresh air.
We welcome well behaved dogs in Farmhand Cottage, Grain Store and Cattle Shed. We provide dog blankets and towels so your dog is as comfortable as you are and in the laundry we have water sprays so you can clean them off before going back into your cottage.

We have a separate laundry and drying room so any muddy cycling clothes can be washed and hung to dry out and we also have
locked secure storage space for bikes with locks provided that you are welcome to use when out and about.
We have deep baths and powerful showers and then comfortable beds with cotton sheets and feather duvets
for a deep sleep to rest your weary legs.
